Traditional food festival – Saturday 24th September 2016
Our seed trust first mega food festival will be held on 24th September 2014 at Sri Jeyendra Saraswathi Golden Jubilee Matriculation Higher secondary school at Sankar nagar, Tirunelveli. The main aimof this event is to popularise food items made of traditional food grains among the urban population, especially the younger generation, and teach them methods of preparing such dishes, known for their nutritional value.

SEED TRUST FIRST MEDICAL CHARITY CAMP
Our first free medical camp was conducted by member of SEEDtrust doctors on 13th December 2015 inKoonimedu, Marakkanam taluk, Tintivanam district, Tamilnadu. This camp was aimed at people who were affected by the worst flood in decades. They also visited a nearby village to meet people and distribute basic essential personal care and house hold items.
The special credit goes to Dr. P.N. Ramesh Babu and DR. P. Ajitha Ramesh who organised this camp on a very short notice. This event was successfully run by Dr.G.Sivaraman, Dr.S.A. Ponnambalam, Dr.K.S. Balasubramanian, Dr. T.S. Nagarajan, Dr. K. Rajalakshmi, Dr.S. Arul sorubi, Dr.S. Kalavathy, Dr.T. Kumutha, Dr.P. Bharathi, Dr. Sarath Priya dev, Prof. P. Paramasivan, Dental Student Dr. S.Sakthi, and volunteer young student Miss.P. Jeyadevi . Big kudos to all !

Press Meet
Prior to the food festival, a big press meet was held on Wednesday 17th August 2016 at Sri Janakiram Hotel, Tirunelveli. Our SEED trust member Dr. G. Sivaraman addressed the meeting and many SEED trust members were attended the press meet. During his interview,he pointed that it’s an attempt to help the people suffering from lift style disorders like diabetes, hyper tension, obesity and a range of diseases including cancer.
